récit de voie (2017)
Writing Nantes - Place Branding and a Commissioning Process for Travel Writers. This is a 5 year post-doctoral research project on the Loire and urban tourism in Nantes. This part of the research in April 2017 is to capture way-tales or récits de voie by speakers walking a route that André Breton may have known when he used to visit the Parc de Procé. A way-tale aims to elicit spoken memories stimulated by walking and experiencing the urban architecture. A further aim, not achieved here is to ask locals with long experience of particular streets and routes to undertake the same process, this would be called archaeological topophonics.
